How to put on a 3 buckle ski boot

Thread Starter

I bought a pair of Dalbello's rampage ski boots. They have 3 buckles and remember the boot fitter telling me  to follow a specific sequence to put the boots on. I believe he said to follow this sequence: (1) middle, (2)bottom and (3)top buckles.

Any suggestions from anyone who owns this boots.

Thanks.

being as the only people who can respond to you in here are the boot fitters on the panel (and there will be a limited number of people with that boot in a group of approx 20) ...

my thoughts as a fitter would be, the middle buckle first, then the upper one, then flex the boot a couple of times to draw your heel into the back of the boot then the lower buckle but not too tight, you may need to get that middle buckle tightened up a bit more after you have flexed, get it as tight as you can without causing pain to hold your foot securely at the back of the boot
