For Sale...   $225 OBRO

2014 Head Rev 78's @ 163 with PR11 bindings.

Purchased these last year from a local shop in January and skied on them about 20 days.  They performed flawlessly.  Purchased a new set of skis at the end of last season, so these have to go.

Had the local shop due a "summer tune."  They released the spring tension in the bindings and they also coated the bases with a lot of extra wax.  Since April, they've been stored inside in a climate controlled room.

The edges still have the factory tune on them.

From Head....

A great all mountain ski for intermediate level skiers with Head's ERA 3.0 technology - comes with Head PR 11 bindings mounted on a track system.

The REV range is Head's all mountain, all terrain offering of skis with something to suit all ability levels. The REV 78 falls right in the middle of the range making it perfect for intermediate level skiers, beginners looking for a ski that will last, or even advanced skiers on a budget. Featuring HEAD's unique ERA 3.0 technology which combines a rocker shape, sidecut radius and ski rebound to produce a true do everything, go everywhere ski that rewards the user every time. With a slightly wider waist, the REV 78 is versatile enough to charge the pistes or cruise through the powder, opening up the whole mountain to you.

These come with Head PR 11 bindings mounted onto the PowerRail system which gives tool free adjustment without interfering with the skis natural flex pattern meaning it performs exactly as it was designed to.

Brought the skis into the shop today to have them scraped, brushed and tuned.  Will post pictures after it's done.

For those interested, the tune will be to factory specs... 1 degree base and 1 degree side edge.

This is a great pair of ski's for a very reasonable price.  I was about to buy these for my nephew and the little bastard had already bought a pair :D

The 78 is a great intermediate ski:

FROM Ski Canada:

The Rev 78 defined the Cruisers category for many of the testers. They thought it worked really well at moderate speeds and held its own as the speed increased. Indeed, when all the scores were tabulated, the Rev finished in the top half of the category and was a category favourite for some of our testers. Mark Stein was a happy camper: “Easy cruising to the max! This ski inspires confidence with its stable edge hold and ability to keep you centred turn after turn! Easy cruisin’ defined.”

I would be very interested in these for a friend of mine, but unfortunately, I believe these would be too long for her.  Agree with Finndog, great skis at a fair price.
