I don't need them, but: Technica Icon Alu Hot-form

OK, at the London Ski Show, and I decided to try a pair of these. Also tried the Salomon Crossmax 10, which was too narrow for my feet. I'm currently in Salomon Evo2 8.0, 28.5, which are OK, but I've had them a few seasons.
The Technicas felt excellent, and that was before hot-forming. Anyway, the shop, Snow & Rock, was selling them for £280, which is around $430US.
Is this a good price for these babies, or should I wait until I go to Whistler is 39 days, or maybe even hold on until Utah, and get some of the pros to sort me out?

That's a very good price for those babies.

Is it a good price?
This is the Icon Alu Hot-form, not the Icon Alu Comp Hot-form (or whatever order they put the words in )

Too late.
I phoned a friend, and have just got myself a pair of Technica Icon Alu Comps in 28.5 at a very good price. Not the Hotform model, but if I need a custom inner, I'll buy one seperately.

See you in Whistler or Utah! I'll be the one in the bright orange boots with the big grin on my face, and little to no ability to ski in them.
But, who cares, I'll look good.
