Touring with Paragon Guides

Thread Starter

Anyone ever use Paragon Guides before?  They're a backcountry ski tour place near Vail, CO.  They offer "earn your turns" day tours.

I have limited back country experience and was thinking this would be a good way to try out the sport for a day.  I'd ether rent gear from them or pick up a second hand set of skis with touring bindings and skins.  Other suggestions on ways to get into touring is welcome.  (as a non-mountain resident)

I've never skied with them, but I knew some of the guides.  They've been around a long time and have a good rep.

Aspen Expeditions is right at the base of Highlands and they would also be a good choice.
