I have been trying to find some boots that would fit my ankles / legs. I have ordered three pairs over the last few months that say they are for wide calves but they still don't fit right. When I put them on, my foot does not go all the way down because of my ankles and the tongue stick way out because of the size of my legs. Is there a boot that is significantly wider in the leg area? It seems that all the boots focus on the width of the foot and not the ankle / leg part of the boot. Does the leg part get bigger as the size of the boot goes up? The latest pair I bought was Dalbello Aspire 85 Womens Ski Boots because it said they were wide and I can almost get my foot all the way down in those but there is no way I can get any of the upper clasps to even come close to closing. Do you have any suggestions?

suggestion: see a good boot fitter, and not ordering online. Odds are ANY boot will need some mods, and that is what a boot FITTER does. (and this is usually included in the price) Moving buckles, adding heel lifts, flairing liners wider, lowering shells etc, is all part of the job to find the right fit for you
also, dont buy a bigger boot. buy a smaller size. As a boot goes up in size, the cuff gets taller, and this will then go higher on your leg, and make any pinch worse.
most brands will have a wider fitting boot, but trying a bunch on, in a few sizes, is key to finding the right boot.
Sorry, no magic wand to fit this.
