Telemark Racing

Thread Starter

Looking for bears that are ready for a new challenge and adventure this winter. I made the switch from alpine to tele a few years back but still love to spend time in the gates. Check out the videos in this link

and if anyone is interested in learning more send me a message or check out our US Telemark Ski Team Page.

This is a great group of people of all ages and abilities looking to have some fun and and push each other in a supportive group. We will be having local races all over the country this winter and are hosting the FIS World Championships in Steamboat this February!

@riskiguy     ... Consider adding the Mini Hahnenkamm Town Downhill at Jackson Hole to your schedule - March 14-15, 2015

There is always a small contingent of tele racers that participate in the amateur division on Sunday. If the group could pony up some guaranteed participation, or develop it over the coming years, I am sure a very cool niche could be carved out in this absolutely unique event.

Snow King has just poured millions into infrastructure & snow making, and yet it retains an incredible small-town, family resort vibe. Oh, then there's Exhibition off the summit chair, just about the steepest run you can find in the region.

I'be always enjoyed the racing and it does make for a more rounded skier, adding to the skill set. Highly recommend giving racing a try when the opportunity presents itself, and the occasional bit of swag doesn't hurt.
