Is there ever a good reason for keeping two pair of boots

I got a pair of rossi all-track 100 comp. They are brand new in the box. I also own a pair of Full Tilt Seth that I'm happy with overall. I like the hike mode features of the Rossi but I've boot packed with the Seth and they work well enough. Never skinned in either pair but will plan to hike and skin more this season. I could probably use the money for selling the Rossi but wondering if they are a better choice for hiking and skinning. Does ownership of one of these boots justify selling the other?

Yes, it is quite nice to concentrate on first world problems. Amazingly, my third world problems vanished when I left California. If I ever miss them there are some scattered remnants of the third world, I can amuse myself with, at a comfortable distance.

for any real touring the walk mode is key, so the rossi seem like a better all around boot

I agree with Mtnlion.  The Rossi will tour better, has a bigger and more comfortable toe box, the geometry is more up to date.  It is also more yellow!!  So there is my solution to the 1st world problem.
