First, I want to say that the tips and feedback I've gotten on here from you guys has been FANTASTIC. You guys are GREAT!
We're flying into Denver at 4:45pm and spending the night there. The next late morning or early afternoon we're considering driving to Winter Park and staying there for a few days before continuing on to Steamboat for a week.
I'll have an SUV full of kids ages 1, 3, 11, and 13 along with my wife and her mother. My kids are usually really good on car rides as we go places often.
My thoughts on this are that it's a shorter drive to Winter Park to make the trip more enjoyable.
More snow may be available at Winter Park since they will have been open a week earlier???
The ski school costs much less. I'll be sending my wife and three year old there....possibly another kid or two.
My concern is the elevation. Should I be concerned?
Do they sell oxygen there if needed? Or should I bring the portable canisters on the plane.
Or should we go to Steamboat first and hit Winter Park on the way back?
BTW, we're coming from sea level.
