I was skiing real snow at Snowbird and Alta this past weekend , so cannot offer a first-person experience, but my wife said that Sun and Mon were terrible, Sat was pretty decent. Her comment was that snow is melting pretty fast and even the "good for you" conditions may not last too long.
Here is the picture of the Snowbird kids' comp venue (the bowl in the center of the picture). The weather was pretty warm for Utah, and the snow conditions were very much like in the good old days in Tahoe, so it felt vaguely familiar.
And here are some spectators checking out the venue after the day ended. This sucker is a lot steeper than it looks in the main photo, but it was all nice wintry chalky snow:
Alta had a lot of places with old heavy-ish powder, some even untracked.
