Compression pump recovery systems - anybody using these post ski?

As a veteran in acl and knee surgeries ( at 5 now, but thankfully been able to keep them healthy the last 8 years ), my bad knee certainly does swell after skiing and now my good knee developed bursitis this summer, so I am looking for some additional help besides rolling, stretching, strengthening and of course vitamin I to keep me on the slopes everyday ( yep we live at the base if whistler, so I try to get up every day, even if it's just for two hours )

I am looking at the air pressure recovery systems that are quite common in pro cyclists and I think they are often used in tri and marathon as well. Does anybody on here have any experience with these systems?

Could you maybe list the brand you use, and if you find them effective ? There is now a variety of products out there ranging from cheap to astronomical ..I don't mind paying for a good rehab tool,,but it needs to be worth it and not just a gimmick so I hope to get some input here...

I am looking at possible getting this system http://www.revitapump.com/store/c1/Featured_Products.html

But am also open to buying it's more hyped and known product ...but just winder how much the difference will be for me since I am obviously not a pro athlete,

I just got a new hip and my insurance company, thankfully, pre-approved me buying a Game Ready unit http://www.gameready.com
I love it and use it alot. As you can just add different wraps you can pretty much take care of most of your issues as they come up by buying another wrap. I have a hip wrap and a knee wrap.

I also have a Breg Kodiak unit that provides the icing with abit of compression. Different league from the GR but nice for travelling with. Wrap is pretty basic.http://www.breg.com/products/cold-therapy/devices/kodiak-cold-therapy

If you have Inurance maybe see if they'll pre-authorize you.
