K2 Skis, size up or size down? And do they measure long?

Do you guys size up or size down when buying k2s rockered freeride skis. Namely the kung fujas or shreditors of the past and present, but any k2 sizing will help my predicament..

Also, Do they measure long? Last years 181 Coomback is 185cm. But then again, my old 189 obsethed from 2012 measured 189cm on the dot. Some places I read people agree that k2 measures long, and then other places I read people say k2 measures on the dot. Does it vary from ski to ski for the entire line up, whether they measure long or just right? Confusing until you actually have it in hand...

I sized up with my old obsethed, but sized down with my new K2.. Last years k2 shreditor 102 in 179. Ive heard it measures like 184, which is awesome, but I havent recieved it yet to measure myself. I may actually be able to use it for some Tram laps, even if it measures a bit long.

bump.

I am also interested in the answer to this question due to the strong possibility of purchasing some K2 Rictor xti 90 used skis for use in SoCal.

(me: 140lbs 6' advanced)  I've got my eye on some 177's.

Depends on the ski. The more rocker and less slow contact, you might consider sizing up..most of the other skis do run a bit long..the 177 Rictors are more like a 180 something else.  K2 is not the only one here there are inconsistencies with many manufacturers..even within lines and series...put a Nordica NRGy90 and 100 in the same lengths next to each other..centimeters are such a subjective unit of measurement.
