DIY Stainless Steel Tether for GoPro and Other Gear

There is sadly no DIY forum in EPICSKI, so this tethering idea is posted here.  Below is a great way to create a very strong tether for a camera or other gear with stainless steel wire.  If you are afraid of losing a camera in the snow or elsewhere due to a failed mount, this is worth look:

That's overkill.  Go to a bait and tackle shop and buy a pre-made stainless steel fishing leader with swivels. Less than $2.00.  Super strong, flexible and you can't even tell it's there.   If that isn't a strong enough tether, you probably will have some other more serious problems to deal with.
