I am a once a year skier for family vacation. I have had my own ski boards since 10th grade and it's time to replace.(25 now) I don't want real long skies but I think I do want to upsize from ski boards. I want something twin tipped and wide. Any pointers on what to look for

Welcome to EpicSki!  Be good if you read a few of the EpicSki Articles about buying gear.  Look under Articles for First Run.

Where have you skied in the last few years?

Next trip to Copper, plan to rent ski's. The Christy Sport at the base of SuperBee will let you take up different pairs of ski's for several runs each. Follow their advice and try a few different ski's. I'd say spending time on several different ski's will let you develop a feel for the great variety of ski's available to you.
