Suggestions for All-mtn & Park skis for 14yr old?

Hey gang, my son's ready to move to a twin-tip and is getting heavily into park skiing this season. I need to find a set of skis that can do anything.

About the skier:

  • 14yrs old
  • 120 lbs
  • 5' 3"
  • Advanced all-mountain skier, learning park tricks now
  • Very athletic
  • Likes to ski fast
  • Skis deep snow, trees, groomers, not a bump dogger
  • He's coming off of a 140cm, and I think he should be on a 150-155cm

He's been on Volkl RTM's the past two seasons, but he needs something with a larger platform for float in the deep stuff now that he's growing, and with the tricking it definitely needs to be a twin-tip, and flexible.

I went out looking at skis tonight for the first time in a while, and was looking at the Armada El Rey, and the Volkl Gotama. But no idea what else is out there that fits the bill.

Any firsthand experiences with all-mtn/park skis for young teens is much appreciated, thank you! :)

Sollie Rocker2 Junior is an option. Progressive waist width based on length, up to 100mm waist @ 160cm.

Sorry I didn't reply, just saw this.

Son got all excited about the Volkl Ledge, so I bought him a pair of 2014's in a 155.
