Sugarbush (VT) offering $500 "First Tracks" Add-On

Essentially you pay $500 for the privilege of being able to ride the base lift 30 minutes before the normal opening time on holidays and weekends.  So, if you buy an adult pass for $1349  plus a $500 early bird pass, that's $1849 for skiing an eastern mountain.

 

Wow.  Even if I have such disposable income, I wouldn't waste it on this pass.  I'd put that $500 towards an AT setup instead.

Stratton has this- it's usually good for a few first fights per year when visisting skiers & elitists clash when the lifts start spinning, the uncool kids can't get on.
