Looks better than the closing weekends where half of it is harvested for snow . There is a cat out there right now. BTW, you can size up your images by taking the default width/height from 200/400 to say 800/1600. You just have to do it manually in the image string.
Anybody know if truly tons of people come out for opening day if it isn't on a weekend? It would be fun to go up just for the buzz and a few laps, but not if it is a true cluster, width of High Noon notwithstanding...
I skied A-Basin on the third day they were open last year (October 15th, a Tuesday), and I was there in line before the lifts opened. On average, everytime you came down to the bottom, the line was 3 minutes longer than the time before. My first run I waited about 2 minutes, after my 10th it was about a 30 minute wait.
I think I'll get 3 or 4 runs in to alleviate my jonesing that has been lingering all summer, and call it a day. Temps look to be mid to high 40's, that's almost springs skiing temps, I think I'll forgo all the base layers.
I'll try that in the future with my pics, thanks.
Edit: I increased the resolution on my previous pic, does it show bigger? I'm on the mobile site.
