My ideal quiver has four skis and includes a FIS SL ski for ice/groomers/exercise/crowded slopes, a cheater and/or <27M GS ski for less crowded groomer days, a charger/crud buster and a "playful" powder/tree ski. I currently have Atomic race skis, Stockli for the charger and DPS for the "fun shape".
Atomic, Rossi, Volkl, Dynastar, Blizzard, Nordica, Stockli, Salomon & Head all make good race skis and most make decent wide skis.
I think I could go with Atomic's Automatic 107 or 117 for the charger and their Bent Chetler for trees and playful soft snow skiing. I imagine I would also be happy with Stocki race skis, the Stormrider Pro for the charger but I'm not sure I could find the kind of easy playful tree ski I like in the Stockli line.
I don't have enough experience on the other brand's skis but based on reviews I think a good quiver would be easy with any of them but I my vote goes to Atomic.
But, I have to agree with Trekchick--
