Springtime at Big Red Cats

Thread Starter

I was busy working on a few projects on a rainy day this past weekend and I came across the trip we did to Big Red Cats late last March. I never had the opportunity to edit up a short video.

It's hard to believe how sometimes we just get lucky! March 25th, Bluebird and a foot of fresh, it doesn't get any better than that. Big Red Cats is located near Rossland, British columbia just 2.5 hours north of Spokane, WA.

The crew with BRC is first rate and they are all about having fun especially the owner Kierien Gaul who always has a joke and loves to get some air as you'll soon see.

Make sure you check out their website and check out all the deals thy have going on.   Enjoy

I did a trip last January with BRC and stayed at the Red Shutter Inn.    Kierien, Paula, Tash and the rest of the crew were all super nice and very accommodating.

Red is a killer mountain and it's really easy to get there from Spokane.

Dang that was fun!

Thanks for the August Stoke!

Sweet!

Skied Red Mt in 2013 and had an amazing time. Back them they had that $10 dolar cat ride in the Grey mountain terrain, which was very cool.

I heard good things about BRC, great deals and terrain, definitely on my bucket list!

Took a trip down to BRC a few years back. The snow was terrible early season, but we could definitely see the potential up there.

I'd love to get back down there again in better weather.

Thanks for the stoke. Too bad the snow wasn't better ... :rolleyes  :D

BC does have a bit of Real Skiing (TM). And it's closer than Japan for all you North Americans.

So, if you're thinking about that expensive trip to Aspen, think again. BRC, CMH, Valhalla, Mica, White Grizzly, Retallack and many more are all waiting. Go for the Real Thing.

To quote Warren Miller: "If you don't do it this year, you'll just be a year older when you do."

We should plan a trip north to hang with this crew.  I think you and @SkiNurse  should meet this gang.

@Freeride  Thanks for the summer stoke!

I agree with Shredhead the BRC staff is fun to be around. Kieren is a blast out in the backcountry, Paula one of the nicest persons out there and Tash is a hoot especially with her laugh. BRC is a great place to have some fun.

Caucasian Asian- I've had a few trips to BRC first week of December which have been outstanding and one trip with not much snow, unfortunately thats Mother Nature. It's definitely worth another go!

Oh no, that was not a misspelled word. I meant it as I stated...

And yes, come on up!  We could all have an Inland NW good time!
