Grad school ski/snowboard gear survey

Thread Starter

I am doing a research project for grad school and am gathering some information on the way people buy ski/snowboard gear. It would be extremely helpful if you could take 5 minutes or less to answer some questions on your next ski purchase.

You don't even have to type anything!

Thank you for your help, I appreciate it.

survey glitch: requires snowboard answers, even though it knows I'm only a skier

Also, lose the separation between telemarker and skier - not relevant to your focus.

Thanks Paul, I've removed the question requirement.

What school?

Also in the terms of service:

In general we will not allow Epicski to be used to post surveys without prior approval. EpicSki does not allow surveys to be posted or linked without prior permission from the administration.

Is this an approved survey?

Why do you care?

University of Utah for a market research project. Per usual I didn't actually read the terms of use but will check on the permission. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.

To be fair, Sibhusky is correct.  We request getting approval because we've had issues with surveys that contain a malicious link  or topics that are unrelated.

Let me run this by the other admin team members and get back with @jeffcedeno

First of all, you can't pull down the thread.

Second, please hold off until one of our mods replies.

Quite often we are fine with this sort of survey.

No powder ski option? Am I supposed to use the ambiguous "freeride"?

Survey is approved. Carry on.

Not a fan of surveys that have the have the same question asked twice or questions that negatives in them making them tough to answer.

OP wanted a learning experience. He's getting one.

The survey layout for many of the questions is so mobile-unfriendly that I bailed on it. If you want volunteer participation you need to make it REALLY EASY. That may mean testing multiple survey tools with multiple devices and/or emulators.
