I am so goddamn done with this cold. Not the temps - they are too warm - but this thing that's been rattling in my chest for three weeks now. Coughing, coughing, coughing. Every day I ski, it's worse the next day. I took today off, slept half the day, then took the dogs on a mellow hike. I was putting one front in front of the other like it was some sort of death march. Both exercise and cold temps (even moderately cold) seem to make it worse. I can ski just fine with it, although I'm sure that my cough can be distressing to people around me - the other day I sounded like I had a squeaker toy stuck in my throat.
Not whooping cough, I trust. Have you seen a doctor?
