Copper never softened up all that much yesterday where I skied...which is to say not icy, but not corn. I was breaking in new boots on new skis (yay for multiple variable introduction ), so I wasn't too concerned about conditions, but for a 50 degree day the north facing stuff held.
I try to avoid Andy's Icecore at this time of year.
How did the new boots do? I too am trying to break in new boots after just getting my first ski alignment. I'm thinking of taking a lesson tomorrow at WP and hopefully getting an instructor who knows about alognment and can watch me on the hill.
