Starting looking at the Icelantic Gypsy Ski

Hope this link works

http://www.backcountry.com/icelantic-gypsy-ski-icb0021?rr=t

About me 6' 1" 220lbs intermediate skier  right now ride the old s7 and s3

looking for something different to have fun on in the powder and soft snow..

Icelantic 152 / 125 / 148 mm reverse camber

Anybody ride these skies and if so

what do you like about them and what are your dislikes.

Will they ride threw the crud a little better than my s7's

I liked them.   Good in variable conditions and could still rail back to the chair.

190 for sure.

Great been reading a lot about them, Decided to pick up a pair while the price was right.

Can I ask where did you mount your bindings?

I was on demos the rep gave me.  I'd use the line,  baring any strong opinions otherwise.

I love my gypsies. On firm snow you feel the 125 mm under foot, but on anything soft they are magic for me. I mounted mine at the factory recommended.

I just told the mounting guy to mount mine 1 back from boot center.

I spoke to the Icelantic Company and they said anything in and around BC would be fine.

Here is the website and a nice video showing the ski.
