Hig is the Zig's #1 bud right?

But did he know that he missed this ride? :eek

Let's just hope they can work this out amicably...

She did get to drive this 1.8L Suoercharged one though...

Nice amount of power but a sweet suspension setup with adjustable KYB's among other upgrades. Toyo Proxy R's are very grippy too.

The wheels are Momo, but the "Ferrari" model.  Sharp but between you and me..a bit heavy.

I was seeing a Miata quiver forming... you know, for different road conditions. ;-)

Ziggster w/1.6, mostly stock for general use

First of the 1.8's w/suspension for brisk mountain play

MasdaSpeed 1.8 for "special" occasions

We have a quiver...

Yukon XL- For deep powder days

Jetta TDI SW- For long distance jaunts

Ziggster- Sunny summer days with no place special to go. (might get suspension attention in the future ;))

With the ZIGGSTR out at the Miata 25th birthday party @ Laguna Seca my NA is feeling left out...

@Philpug & @Trekchick  pls. say hi to all my sibling and cousin cars for me!!!

You should be here with us @Rossi Smash

We'll be thinking of you.

This is just a small sampling of the pictures.

They had the cars parked in a formation that says MX-5 25 so they could take pictures of it from the air.

I'm eager to see the picture to see if I can see us.   (we're in the M)

Did they group the cars by vintage? NA cars in the M, NB cars in the X, etc.? Will they do the whole group for a parade lap of the track?

Sounds like great fun :D

The grouping was by clubs but there were some militant faction groups like the BRG's which are just between the X and the -. Can you find us? Hint we are wearing blue and standing next the ZIGGSTR.

Philpug, the pic resolution is not big enough to find you.

What is the total production number prior to the new release? Were there many Mazdaspeed examples?

No word yet on a Mazdaspeed version just rumors of two motor options, both SkyTech designs but again just rumors. Past that most everything was just speculation like hard tops, PRHT (Power Retractable Hard Tops), Coupes, trim levels, ect. There are a few Mazdaspeeds in the groups in all colors including the Lava Orange. There were many V8's, a few right hand drive japanese cars and a few Italias. Flyin' Miata brought 8 awesome builds and fun toys.

I was going to do a full trip report but with the questions here. I will just add the pics here.

New sneakers and wheels for the Ziggster. The Daisys and marginal aftermarket tires were just not cutting it. Welcome the 15" Konig Rewinds which have a Panasport look with a polished lip and the new, well reviewed Dunlop Direzza 102 tires.

And so it begins...;)

Now that you've got some grip to work with (does the ZIGGSTR have a limited slip rear?) I see a few suspensions tweeks in your future.
Then seat recovering kits and a steering wheel update. The 1.6 responds well to an exhaust uncorking so a SS header and cat back...

TC, you think skiing is an expensive sport, just wait!!! (and always insure everything is Ziggy approved)

I have been looking for some seats, came close but the seller was a flake. Steering wheel has been refinished and is good.

Suspension is next. Thinking Flying Miata springs and not sure what to so for shocks..yet, it will be a spring (no pun intended) project.

Headers and cat back IS an option for the future.

I run Bilstein HDs on mine. Our road surfaces really suck here and those do a great job...

Meh, there are places out this way still getting snow but closing with more than enough to ski on.  Can't win with or without the snowfall.
