Boston to get Indoor Ski Center

Per UnofficialNetworks, a company in Boston is working on funding an indoor ski/snowboard center. It apparently is supposed to be modeled on this one in Salt Lake City.

Error 404, this isn't what you're looking for, but...

They said that a summer resort in NC was going to build one back in early 2007.  It never happened.

I think the 404 issue is on your end, I just checked both links again and they loaded fine.

Also there is a lot more of a ski centric population in Boston than Asheville.

Perhaps that Boston link only works in Costa Rica. Clear your cache and try it again.  Fails on a blank temp file browser.   The Salt Lake City place link works fine.  That looks more like an indoor gymnastics training center with a couple ramps and  a rail than it does a "ski center". Any town near ski areas could support a place like that with the proper ad reach.  I trained at a gymnastics school over the summer before my last year of freestyle competition too.

Really not a ski center though, no artificial snow or ski simulators, more about tricks and jumps.

Both links work fine for me . . . just saying.

@crgildart not sure whats up with your browser, but that ^ is the copy pasted hyperlink, your browser is cutting off the -131680/ for some reason

Both links (and the one in my quote of the original post) work for me now too.  Someone might have edited and fixed all the links without leaving an edit stamp. Only someone with admin privileges could do that :D

Even when we edit there is a stamp. Could've just been some weird browser issue.

OMG. You guys.

Yeah, @SkiMangoJazz, It looks like this is going to be similar to the Woodward facilities.  More of a ski training facility, and not really a ski center.

The cool think is that they attract more than just skiers.  At Woodward Tahoe we see skateboarders, bmx'ers, skiers,.....  Its a good concept and works well in the right environment.
