jzamp, you misunderstood me.  I never indicated that the video with comments was "too technical" for anybody.  I was not advocating for "good vibes."  

 

I was suggesting putting into words the effective movements she was making.

I have seen this a few times in this thread now, that beginners will not learn from the video. I understand that the commentary is aimed at a very specific group, but anyone can learn from watching good skiing. Her balance, power, rhythm and timing are attributes that we can all appreciate. Taking from another thread, basics are basics, she has just refined them to a much higher level. All the concepts are there for anyone to emulate; counter, angulation, outside ski, fore/aft. 

 

Videos like this are beneficial on many different levels.
