If you stay on the groomed, the Rossignol T-Power Viper S in 60 cm would be just what you describe, and you also might want to check ot the Rossi T-Power Cobra X in the same length.
Off-piste skiing can vary - from skiing in tracked-out trees, where the T-Power will work, to skiing in a foot of heavy eastern ungroomed snow, where you'd be better served by a mid-fat. A good compromise ski for 20% off-trail and 80% on trail would be the Rossignol Bandit X in 170. Also consider, in 167 cm length, the K2 Escape 5500, a really great buy, a good short turner, and suitable for light off-trail skiing.
Go to the "Gear info" section of this web site - NOT in the forums, but look for it on the home page, and hunt around in there.
If at all possible, try skis out - demo them - before you buy. Many ski shops will rent you some of these top skis and then let you deduct the cost of a few days rentals if you buy them. Also, take a look at the Ski Magazine Gold Medal Demo Centers.
Good luck, and let us know what you eventually decide!
