I have no problem with Roadies, I even own one myself (although my goal is to NOT ride it) along with some lycra/spandex.  It is sharing the road with automobiles that scares the crap outa me :eek !

First of all, we sold our road bikes after a year out here because cars scare the crap out of us.

Second......I think you and Don would make a great duo for a humor video on something like this.

When are you coming to Tahoe?

first no idea what is wrong with spade for MTBing I personally can not stand baggies (aka sweat collecting extra layers)

I think Wide tires disc gravel grinder bikes are far to superior for most people than straight road bikes, you get to get out and pedal but much few cars.

Soon, hope to be out there by 1st of July.  I am signed up to do a fundraising road ride around the lake for juvenile diabetes on September 7th, so I will probably stay (& keep my roadbike ;)) at least till then.

My time out there was pretty hectic last year but I will make it a point to visit Chez Ziggy this summer.

:)

We have a lot going on for the first two weeks of July, but would love to get together after that.

You can't leave yet, Matt hasn't had enough chance to pick your brain about this area! ;)

Getting myself a new Trek Lush S today, BTW. :D
