I will only do Mt. Evans when the road is closed to traffic.  For me, I'm not comfortable on the descent for a few reasons.  Mostly the number of tourist that are afraid driving down in a vehicle.  So that means unless I'm doing the Bob Cook Memorial Mt. Evans Hill Climb, it's not an option for me.  If I get the urge to do a climb to 14,000' we ride up Pikes Peak.

Nice little ride on the Crest Trail. Autumn is in bloom.

Some nice color on the approach to Argentine Pass on Sunday. Still about a week shy of peak I think.

Plan on riding in CO this weekend.  One day road to Squaw Pass or beyond; one day MTB.  Which would be better scenery + mtb terrain - Winter Park, Breck, Copper or other location in vicinity?

Ride was nice and scenery was spectacular.  These were back in late September.

Well, snow tomorrow so maybe the MTB is hung up for the season.

Yesterday I took what I hope to be my last ride around Breck for the season. As I look out the window it is just starting to flake.

Ride this AM after a way above normal stretch of weather here in Western NY. Snow tomorrow...........it's cold and raining now.
