Funny - but so much funnier if the dude had just used his normal voice instead of trying to be "a girl".

Thanks for sharing it.

That's hilarious.

Josh, you are a lucky guy.   Your girlfriend is not only super nice, she skis and mountain bikes with you!   I took my wife mountian biking on one of our first dates.  Oops.  She fell, got bloody, cried, and that's the last time she's ever mountain biked.   In spite of that, I'm also really lucky too.  Not only is she amazing in so many other ways, she really loves road biking, so that's something we can do together.  There is still the problem of her keeping up, so I learned to enjoy going slower and just hanging with her.... until the ultimate solution:  have a couple kiddos, and I tow them behind in a trailer :)

I am lucky but so is Diane.....

She had  probably about 10 -12 hours of riding around a high school and a BMX track learning how to ride before we ever hit easy singletrack. I wish I could say there has not been any tears. I coached but I also had her watch and read leelikesbike.com.

I am pretty sure Diane would hate road biking.  she would rather climb steep rooty singletrack than smooth gravel road.

Good thing with having Finnish wife is something all Finns brag around... Finnish sisu. So when we were in Livigno last summer, I took her down some "easy" path which ended as not all that easy, at least not for her. :) After walking down for big part of trail, whole lot of complaining and swearing, it felt like "well that was it for her mtb". But this sisu thing sort of solved things, and on afternoon she was back on bike already :))
