Vintage Rossi Smash

Howdy!

Recently I learned that my idiot cousins had thrown out my Dad's vintage Rossi Smash 195's dating to the mid-1970's, and never contacted me. These were bright neon orange, featured chrome Salomon bindings and were limited edition, specifically they were built for skiers over 200 pounds (at a time when everybody seems to have weighed 170). I always wanted to ride these things and was hoping somebody out there had seen a pair.

Cheers!

@Rossi Smash to the white courtesy phone.

I believe this is the version you are inquiring about. I think this was the final take on the Rossignol Smash before they moved on.

They sure look like them. Thanks! Where would one even buy a pair? I've checked around on a number of vintage sites and haven't found any.

The "Special Edition" chrome Salomon's were probably the 444 variant that had a blue plate on it with just an S on it.
