For what its worth, when I lived in Colorado Springs, I used to seriously consider buying an RMSP right before I purchased my Monarch Pass each year. ;) However, driving distance and staying off I-70 were really the tipping point.

I have the RMSP every year, and the #1 reason is different ranges. Regardless of the type of storm coming in, you're covered. I also have the Epic, but only do Key/A-Basin, mainly because I70 traffic concerns past Copper and not loving Breck, so I'm with you there. 

 

I'd personally be bored to tears spending more than 3 days a year at Monarch, but that's just me....
