In the thread about breaking even with one's ski pass, a question arose regarding the number of Bears who live locally near a ski resort and how many don't. So, a poll seemed in order just for the sake of "passing time on the 'net."
This poll is based on where you reside most of the time during ski season, since some Bears may have seasonal homes of some sort in ski country.
Every poll is flawed. Even many that are created by a survey statistician. Consider this one a "test study" for the better survey that probably won't ever happen.
I was keeping it simple, and I included less than an hour for those that essentially live next door. 2.9 hours isn't exactly next door.
Besides, it's my poll, and I'll frame it how I want to.
I should have clarified in my post to answer based on where you ski most often, tho. Based on that interpretation, MDF is 6+ hours or a plane ride, and it looks like you would be 3-6.
45 minutes pour moi, BTW.
Yep, I answered 3-6. I'm enjoying your poll. I'm glad you started the thread.
Full disclosure . . . my graduate degree is in applied statistics. I considered survey statistics as a specialty, but ended up going in a different direction. Spent more time professionally dealing with research data management and statistical programming than analysis.
