Where are the post-season equipment deals around A-Basin/Keystone in June?!

I booked a ticket for a last minute/long weekend ski trip for June 6-8 @ A-Basin. When I saw they had committed to extending the season through that weekend at least, I was all for it. Anyway, just curious if any of the locals could give me an idea of what places to check out for the so-called great deals on equipment that I've heard pop up once the season is over? If I am going to be in town (with a double ski bag...), I'd like to check them out, if possible.

I'm potentially looking for something with a waist of around 95-110. I have a list of potential contenders, but I'm not going to make a purchase unless I find a total steal.

Thanks!

A lot of shops will have packed away their skis by then to make room for summer merchandise.   You may still find some demos at the rental shops like Breeze in Frisco or on I-70 driving up.  They typically go for around $349 or maybe a little less.

Get out early before the snow gets sticky, then spend an afternoon walking around the shops at Breck.  You might find a good deal on skis, ski clothes, or whatever.  If not, it's a fun way to spend an afternoon.

In general, I think you'll probably find better deals online, like these for the width you are looking at:

Thanks! I almost forgot about the blem ski sale! I'm sure I'll waste an hour browsing through those deals. smile.gif

Also, if there is a really warm day and the snow gets sticky early, consider renting a bike and riding in the afternoon.   Summit County has what must be the best bike paths anywhere, and they should all be clear by then except maybe over Vail Pass depending on snowfall.  There will be far more people biking than skiing that weekend, but no reason you can't do both!
