I am bored this weekend, I thought a would toss some wild reply's out there for the initial reaction.
You might say "to be out there" is to understand skiers constant problems with bootfitting and to solve them.
***tryin to get away from the stiff racing-type boots I used since my youth,***
-what boot are you talking about getting away from?
***looking for comfort with a bit more flex***
-what are the comfort problems with your current boots?
- (key question: flex? describe the flex problem you are having)
----stand on a hard floor with shorts on, while watching the center of your knee, (knee mass, if you put a rod through the side of your knee, put your finger relative to the start and another at the point where the imaginary rod would pass through, from these points of reference find a center point on the knee....center knee mass, not center knee cap) draw a lipstick line and flex forward in a plane relative to your second toe.....key....how far before your heel lifts?...dont let the knee line move internally from the second toe zone.
-note any bumps or protrusions on your foot...particular toe the ball of your big toe and the outside section of your heel...
***- tried the Salomon X-WAVE 10 ***
-good boot, easy to fit...I need the above feedback.
***( - would that X-Wave be a good choice for an expert 40+ patroller-type lookin to chill a bit but have good performance - )
- this is where I had to bust on you a bit, I am your age, I have no plans on chilling out for many years to come!
-trust me with biomechanical influence, you will get the 20yo legs back!
