Unlimited Eldora now on RMSP+

Eldora Mountain Resort switched passes.  One can now get unlimited Eldora access on the Rocky Mountain Super Pass Plus along with unlimited Winter Park Resort and Copper Mountain.

Eldora is not available on the regular Rocky Mountain Super Pass.  Only on the RMSP+.

So they went from Epic to Super.

Wow!  I didn't believe it, so had to check myself.  Yes, it's true:

I'm kinda shocked.  Glad to see the RMSP+ gang working deals to battle the epic pass borg.   Next stop... A-basin :D

Send an email to Al (A-Basin), Gary (Winter Park), and Rob (Steamboat).   Or send one to the HQ on 18th Street in Denver.  Just saying.

If you don't ask.................    I doubt they read this internet forum.

Go RMSP+. Now we've got

  • Unlimited Skiing at Winter Park Resort and Copper,
    and now Eldora!
  • 6 Unrestricted Days at Steamboat
  • 3 Unrestricted Days at Crested Butte
  • 5 Days at Mt. Ruapehu in New Zealand
  • No Blackout Dates

How about A-basin next?

Yes.

If they can't get A-Basin, they should at least get Loveland onboard. :D

No A-basin on the RMSP for at least 4 years, at least that's what I overheard in the A-basin season pass office yesterday.   Someone asked if they were on Epic pass next year and the employee responded with that tidbit I hadn't heard before.

I'm still unrealistically hopeful a Vail/PCMR litigation settlement might shake A-basin free of Vail's grip sooner, but more likely there will be a bidding war for A-basin in a few years.

Well, that's a bummer, although RMSP + A-Basin Unlimited Spring is still less than the full Epic Pass, and you don't have to buy the Spring Pass until you know it is going to be worth it in terms of conditions.

I keep forgetting that the weather chooses my days in May exclusively....

Bringing in Loveland would be a great catch and surpass the Summit Value and compete very strongly with Epic Local.

Agreed! As a Boulder county resident I'm super stoked about Eldora but adding Loveland (or Abasin) would make the Super Pass + the King of the I70 passes. I hope Vail Resorts is scared.
