SCSA, stop baiting me, I won't bite!

But you have a point. Honda's are so smooth, (unless you're a passenger that is) that it isn't really an issue. Too bad ya can't drive from the back seat...

So what is the PM for then? Sorry if I've been using it wrong. :p

It really depends on how well you already know the person.  Don't send ranting or negative feedback content PMs to people you don't already know fairly well.  If I see someone I know pretty well has posted something that seems out of character and might be taken the wrong way.. joke that might not be so funny to a stranger, I sometimes will send a PM to the person I know asking them to take a second look and consider editing the comment or adding a sarcasm smiley or something like that.wink.gif  If some person I hardly know sends me some ranting and ridiculous comment via PM I might just post it publicly hahaha then report myself to have it moderateddevil.gif

Best to just use the little snitch flag or send a moderator a PM about the issue though.

You can flag a PM just like a post. It's the only way we can see that there has been PM abuse.   If you receive unwanted, threatening, obscene or spam PMs, just flag it, and it will show up in our moderation queue.  It's usually best not to reply to those kinds of things, let us deal with the individual.  We had a recent case of a member over-reacting to what he perceived as criticism in a post, and he responded by sending threatening, curse-laden PM to at least one of the participants in the thread.  That kind of crap doesn't sit well and is an abuse of the PM system.  Report it, and we'll do our best to be fair or show the door.

This may be a zombie thread from 2002, but this hasn't changed:

Thanks!
