last run of the last day

Very mellow but good day at Saddleback today. It got lovely and soft, but not before making us wait three hours to ensure all due gratitude. They're done for the season now. The fact that there was about three feet of snow loss since a week ago makes this fact easier to swallow. Took a couple runs with some acquaintances - good people whom I see often but somehow it's usually in the lodge. At the very end of the day ran into other friends I hadn't skied with all year. Had a cold beer on a warm deck with them after the last run. We made big plans for next year, that we will forget about by next week. Now it's all in my court to come to grips with the end.

It looks like a good day, indeed, @qcanoe. More east coast stoke to make me long for home. :beercheer:

Another year almost gone.  We have one day left, next Saturday..  Heres my tracks on the side of a groomer at Silver Mt. yesterday. Was a good day.

As you can see it was another really crowded day in Idaho.  Glad to here the E coast had a good year.

The last day run of the season.......ewwwww.  Is that like the you never admit you're on the last run of the day?  What a sad time.

Last day at Baker today as well.  Plenty of snow, but not many cars in the lot and the runs were quite empty.
