Just as the title suggests, my instructor wants to "step it up a notch" and ski some bumps. We actually headed over to "intermediate moguls" but the trail was roped off.
Just curious, can I be a pretty good skier without skiing moguls? I don't really have a burning desire to hit them. Additionally, all but 1 trail at the mountains I ski are black moguls. The 1 trail is really a blue glade that gets bumped up. I ski some pretty easy blue glades now that are fun. Lots of other black glades where I ski that I've never been in.
I probably wouldn't have a problem trying them out if there were less advanced bumps available.
I honestly want to get better and don't mind taking lessons. His decision to take me there kind of surprised me. Thought my bump introduction might be a few years from now...
