Ok, as promised, the 183 sale starts!

Here is a great pair of the hard to find Head iGS Rd in the (previous) women's size of 183/25.  Mounted with Head FreeFlex pro 16 bindings.  Very good shape.  This makes an excellent masters or beer league ski.  Waaay better performance, and just as easy to ski, than a cheater.   Fresh tune @ .7/3 and waxed ready to go.  Mounted for a 313 BSl but will remount on plate as required

Great deal @ $325     $300 + shipping.

Thanks Man
if I hadn't bought the volkl fis (2009) GS177 WC womens cheater ski I'd be all over these. These are a steal for the price.

I should have added that I bought a pair of 180cm Head cheaters via SS this fall. They arrived, exactly as he had described. Bases loaded with wax, great structure, perfect tune. My racing days ended with the 1976 NCAA's. These 183/25's would be a much better choice for an actual masters race ski, IMO. I use the cheaters {18M radius} for free skiing on my big-azz, wide open, buffed and rock hard home hill. For that, they are ideal. In a decent course set, I think they'd hook up and double turn all over the hill. Can't say for sure, as my 38 year gate allergy persists.

Key point, these skis will be in SUBSTANTIALLY better condition than new. Some of us just have that tuning and prep addiction! SS surely does! Leader of the pack when it comes to this stuff!

Again….somebody jump on them!!

I'm baffled that no one has swooped these up yet!  They haunt me every time I come to this site.  If I didn't have a similar ski (Knessel White Star, 183 @ r>23m), I'd be all over this.  (Indeed, even though I DO have a similar ski, I'm still tempted!)

Please, somebody, anybody, BUY THESE!  Tempt me no longer!!!

Seriously tempted but then a new addiction would set in and you....that is a collective you...meaning the entire world really doesn't want to see me in a speed suit. or warm up shorts over a speed suit And that would be the next logical step after purchasing an item like this.

I would be in violation of my own spandex rule, to wit, if your girth is more than 2/3's the length of your slalom ski, you may not wear a speed suit on my hill.

then there is new boots

and gate guards of all sorts,

shin guards

hand guards, new poles....multiple pairs some even bent more than a good crash can manage and they came that way.

Face bar,

POC helmet,

Tuning gear of every variety....I know  some of that is other disciplines, but an item such as this would be a gateway 'drug' and lead to all that other stuff and more.

Sigh!

Please some one buy these!

You realize of course that i can also supply all of the above to sate your new addiction....and if an old guy like me can hold his own in a speed suit, you have no need to worry!! :D

Seriously though, for anyone that can properly edge a ski, this is a waaaaay better and more rewarding option than any 17-18m cheater out there!

I didn't even wear a helmet the first day I skied on the 27m Blizzies Scots sent me. smile.gif

Why you'll take them with you of course. And with the system binding, they can use the skis too! Whole lotta win going on there IMHO. smile.gif

SS did set me up with a super nice set of Fischer 183/27's that I will be using to carve up Division I with come Decemeber when our season starts.  Next on list will be to find a solid pair of slalom Bizzards 165's.  I can't imaging skiing slalom on the short things my team mates are running (some 200lbs guys are runnin 150s!).  When I was younger my slalom skis were 198cm Rossi S7's and I did alright on them at that time.  I didn't even change to the shaped skis until 2007 (wasn't racing and was still able to free ski with the 198's).  Heck, I even ran them on a GS course last year and obliterated the......

BINDINGS!

LOL!  you didn't think I could actually have contended on them did you?

& thus the reason I picked up SS's new, old stock Fischer 183/27s!
