What Flexon's are these?

Got them from the "King of the Mountain" who was still living near the little big mountain. I've owned a bunch of Flexon's and the tongues in these are 2X as stiff others marked "COMP".  It has a screw on attachment that suggests easy tongue changes. It has a more rounded shape at the shin. The bottom half of the shells are a matte finish. I don't trust/plan to ski them. My 9'1's are working fine. Thanks.

Sources near me say, Flexon 5. :D

The 5 is close. An ad from 1980. A Flexon 6 from '81 is closer with the taller tongue and "wings". Not an exact match with mine though.

I own them and skied them for 15 years. I worked in a shop then and we called them flexon comps. One of the greatest boots ever 4 high speed GS skiing. Narrow fit and tremendous leverage over thie ski with the high tops

Not.... If they were, current WC'ers would still ski them.
