The summer in SoCal is warmer than usual and a lot more humid and tropical. At the coast in San Diego, it feels very much like Hawaii. The ocean is super warm and even the surfers are wearing their bikinis and board shorts - which is a bit rare. Our nights have been tropical all summer and I am seeing critters that we only see rarely (i.e.:scorpions - small, non dangerous types) and we have huge swarms of termites. What does this mean? I have no idea but it hasn't happened during the past few drought years so I am hopeful! Of course, a shadow in the wrong location would give me hope at this point!
I think it means that it is time to call an exterminator.
