Wow. I had no idea what I was setting in motion here.

If no-one objects, I'd like to return to my original question about skis. One option that has come up is that there seem to be quite a few Head 2012 iPeak 78 PR Pro or Head Rev 75s available right now. From what I understand the iPeak 78 pro was the last descendent of the old Monster line. If this is true-it seems like these might  be a good option as a replacement. Any thoughts? I'm sure there will be opinions...

thanks,

Andy

Andy, the head Mya 8 is a nice ski. She might like a volkl kenja as well.

I was under the impression that the Peak line is generally regarded as a.......what? Misadventure shall we say.

Those who know the Peak should comment. I only remember fairly negative reviews of Peak skis.

Maybe the Peak Pro is different.

Tog, I have the iPeak 78, and have been on them for a few years now. They are/were a great intermediate, all-round ski - for me. I am 6'3'', and 250 lbs, and as I have become a better skiier, I am finding that they are little too damp for me at speed.

I am in the market for new skis for next season, and will be using the new skis for groomers only, and trailing my 7 year old. I have Mantras and Shiros for the trips to alps. Does anyone know what Head ski of their new line up would fit the bill - keeping in mind that I would need around 180cm+ in length?
