I recently purchased some used skis on ebay. The description was not accurate and the bindings did not fit my boot unless they were redrilled. Then I decided to try a size boot that was one full size smaller then my main boots. They fit just fine for my feet but they are a tight fit into the bindings as the bindings will not adjust more. The tuners at the ski lodge tried to adjust but they had a tough time putting the boots in the bindings as the binding would not adjust anymore. He did not recommend wearing the boot into the bindings. However I tried them anyways and when I put them on the binding went on fine. Also one ski did release when I fell. (I was testing if they would release of course :) )
Is it safe to wear the boots that had the tight fit into my bindings. Is there danger of them not releasing properly when I fall. I am looking forward to your answer as this will decide what I do with the ski.
