3 hour drive (guessing 50 miles actual distance) and almost 900 feet above sea level. I'm much more concerned about the volcano 3 miles from my front door that has level a few towns in the last century. They dropped the Tsunami watch for us so that's good bc I've got a bunch of friends out on the Pacific coast.

Says a lot. 50miles = 3 hours! At least it's an exciting 3 hours. LA would just be boring sitting there.

So if everyone put someone on "ignore" then they wouldn't see him right? So, could you make the thread restricted on the condtiion one can join only if they put him on "ignore"? That would skirt the banning rules, while making someone talk into an empty room essentially.

The problem is you need only one not ignoring or ignoring then peeking and quoting. How many put someone on ignore and then keep peeking?

I tried to ban Tyler, but he seems to have immunity and can't be voted off the island.

Maybe we can just ignore him?

Bwahahahahaha  Bow before me, Stormageddon Lord of Darkness.

Well I couldn't ban you, but I figured, I could enhance your forum title.  So I selected a word that recognizes your importance as a forum scout, tracker, or in Spanish....well you know what it means in Spanish, right?

Depends on which Spanish, but I got the reference. Costa Rican Spanish is often very different from other countries. For example:

In Costa Rica: No seas un pinche= Don't be a scrooge (or someone who is tight with money).

Anywhere else in Latin America it means: Don't be a F****r

In Costa Rica: No me joda= Quit bugging me (it's informal and not something you'd say to a random stranger, but not vulgar).

Rest of Latin America: F*** off!

True that, which is why I avoided more profane forms.  Anyway, April 1 is past, I guess, we'll just have to become our old serious selves soon.  Besides...payback is hell.

Are you implying this was not a serious announcement?

It's my understanding the Australian grape harvest failed as a result of the ongoing drought.  Yellowtail is expected to triple in price. You might need to find an alternative.

The good news is, it will become the same price as drinkable wine.  You can switch.

Hey the only wine I have right now is a 2011 Argentinian Malbec from Pequeña Vasija (and some Manischewitz just because).

On a serious note... for any longer ban there should be a separate thread that gets linked to with a poll, so people can vote to not ban that person too.
