Fischer Koa 100, K2 Remedy 100 or ???

Hi,

My wife is looking for some new skis. She has some narrow, cambered skis, so pure hard snow performance is not most important. Neither is performance in 3 feet of champagne powder, that's what demo's are for!

Skier info;

5'7", 140lbs plus a backback most of the time

Intermediate skier

Location Minnesota/UP and CO/UT

performance on the following is most important

-bumps

-crud

-trees

-ungroomed

-switch riding

What are you're thoughts on the Koa 100's vs K2 Remedy 102's?

Do you have any other suggestions?

Sorry for the delay in response, but here it goes.

Both of the skis you mention are good skis for all mountain skiing with a strong off piste and powder bias.  I happen to have a set of Remedy 102's and like them for powder-ish days, or days when I know I won't be on groomers.

Both skis you mention are also quiet and damp so she won't get a lot of surprises.
