Denver Trip Early April Quiver Selection Advice Needed.

I'll be at Snowmass for a couple of days and then Beaver Creek for 2 more between April 2-April 5. Looks like snow is forcast for at least 3 of those days and need advice on which 2 ski's to bring. I will try to be 50/50 on/off piste. I have a Kendo, Katana, Sanouk & a Kuro to Pick from. I'm thinking Kendo/Kuro or should I leave the kendo at home and take the katana/Kuro combo... the Sanouk I just realize doesn't fit in my ski bag mad.gif
I'm from Southern California and this season have been to Alta between xmas/new years and took only my Katana, wishing I had my kendo as there was no new snow for that week i was there.. I ended up renting a bmx88
Appreciate your input.

My vote would be Kendo/Katana or Kendo/Kuro.  I would definitely take the Kendos since the storms don't look that impressive (although that can certainly change).  The other ski I would take is the one you most like to ski in 3 to 6 inches of new snow.

Bring your Kendo for sure.  It's a great ski for Beaver Creek between the great cruisers and bump runs.   You should have some great soft snow, but it's not likely to be huge dumps and when the sun comes out it bakes the snow quickly this time of year.  Should be fantastic skiing!

Make sure you do the hike up to the hanging valley wall.  It's well worth it.  Lots of stashes up there that don't get skied that much, especially now that it's April.  Have fun!

Just a follow up. I took my kendo's and Kuro's.
Day one: Snowmass April 2nd. 6-7 inches of fresh snow. I was on my kendo's and wishing I was on my Kuro's... it was an epic day.. sneaky's & Powerline Glades, Rock Island...
Day two: Snowmass April 3rd, another half a foot and more of additional pow this time on my Kuro's and it was amazing. coming from sea- level, I was totally out of breath after each run.
Day 3 at Aspen... icy groomers for the most part....wishing I was at Snowmass, but it was a good place for my kendo's.
Day 4 at BeaverCreek: no new snow but it was great for groomers and a skinnier ski. what an expansive place !

I think the Kendo/Kuro or 88 wide/ 132 wide covered all my needs especially as the Kuro's do an amazing job on groomers near the bottom of the mountain.

Thanks for all the tips and I hope to revisit CO soon although I need to cross whislter and jackson hole off my list some time in the future.
