I've been splitting my time lately between the resorts and the backcountry. Brought along the GoPro last weekend… and we're still skiing powder in North Idaho:

The other skier is on the Spoons. Pretty awesome watching him play on those sticks.

More pics here.

Sweet Lines, lots of vert in those shots. Glidden Lake, what is that close to?

Looked like a great day. Thanks for sharing.

Burke near Wallace.

Looking forward to your shots this year from the 'Redneck Rendezvous' you guys do up at Roman Nose!

Thanks for the location info Spknmike. We are actually talking about changing things up and possibly heading over close to where you were and trying Stevens Peak for the Redneck Rendezvouz in May. Not quite sure yet. Still lots of fun skiing to be had out there right now. Thanks for sharing the video.

Looks like fun!

Burke has some interesting history from the mining wars.  I tend to take the road less traveled and discovered it on a trip through the NW.  Taking my rental car over Coopers pass was something I will never forget.

Made it back up there last weekend. Found a foot of new at 6600'.. I imagine this weekend will be the same, with the lineup of storms this week:

Short video. Sorry, I know it's not EpicSplitboard:

That's a pretty awesome feat in a car. Burke Canyon is a crazy place full of mining history and destructive avalanches. Check out some of the history videos on YouTube (search: Burke Idaho). There was so little area to build and so many structures, a hotel was built on top of the creek and had a railway travel through the lobby.
