No matter how carefully I clean and dry my skis at the end of the season, they always end up with rust on the edges by the following season. I used to store them on a rack mounted on the wall in the basement. Somebody suggested that was a bad idea, so last year I brought them upstairs and stored them on the carpet under the bed. It didn't seem to make a significant improvement. I'm in the Chicago area and I have central air, so the indoor humidity is not excessive. Is there an effective solution to this problem? Thanks!
