At first I was annoyed/uncomfortable with the direction this thread took, but then as I kept reading it - yes I'm sometimes bored at work too - I find that my warped sense of humor as kicked in and I'm very entertained by the whole thing.
Somewhere along the way I did a Google search on terms like "Expert Skier Definition" and ALL of the results led to articles and forums such as this that go forever but NEVER arrive at a consensus definition. Next, I looked up Webster's definition, and now I know why the debate will never reach a consensus:
adjective \ˈek-ˌspərt, ik-ˈ\
: having or showing special skill or knowledge because of what you have been taught or what you have experienced
The definition itself is subjective and open to interpretation!
Kudos to @Yo Momma for starting the thread and as long as someone is willing to keep debating, I for one am willing to keep checking in and getting my laughs for the day.
