About the lift tickets, I think if skiers have only the option to buy the One Wasatch there will be people that will stop going to Utah, if I don't have the option to use a MCP pass to ski alta/bird or utah superpass that I can buy for about $60 a day to ski Alta/Bird/Solitude/Brighton I will probably go somewhere else. I have to intention to pay $100+ for a combined lift ticket to go ski Alta as I usually go.
My guess is Vail will find a way to include the EPIC Pass, making certain a ton of lift tickets for One Wasatch will be presold. Of course individual tickets for each resort will also be sold, learn to ski packages will be sold individually, lesson prices will differ between the resorts, kids skiing free at certain ages will differ, etc. The technology is easy enough.
